Holiday in Amalfi

Who doesn’t know Amalfi and the Amalfi Coast, a place preceded by its history and followed by its priceless beauty?

For this reason, since 1997, the entire Amalfi Coast has been included among UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.

To the question, “Why choose Amalfi?”

I will try to answer by trying to describe Amalfi to you… what does Amalfi have…

A ncient origins of a history born from an old myth

M ighty sea, full of strength and beauty

A love for good cuisine

L emon groves and orchards spread across the typical terraces

F elicity of a unique experience that leaves a beautiful and profound memory

I mmersed in nature, still wild in places, taking your breath away

The best time is definitely in spring.

 Here’s why:

  • Ideal temperatures: Neither too hot nor too cold, spring temperatures allow you to explore the coast without suffering from excessive heat.
  • Blooming season: Spring transforms the Amalfi Coast into a burst of colors, with bougainvillea decorating houses and gardens.
  • Fewer crowds: Compared to the summer months, there are fewer tourists, making it easier to find spots on the beaches and in restaurants.
  • Events: During this time, many traditional festivals and events take place, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture

How to reach Amalfi

Amalfi can be reached by car, bus, and, of course, by ferry.

Whether you arrive by plane or by train in Naples or Salerno, you can reach Amalfi from there by bus, by renting a car, or with a private transfer service.

For example, from Naples Central Station, you can take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento and then continue to Amalfi by bus. SITA buses reach the Amalfi Coast in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the ticket price is very affordable.

A true Rider will undoubtedly choose the fastest but also the most scenic option.

One great alternative is traveling by sea, for example, taking a direct hydrofoil from Molo Concordia at the port of Salerno.
